TPC 2014 Judging Panel

HOTF takes the business of judging our competitions very seriously. Our goal is to give the Toronto Puppy contestants a quality of judging equal to the International Puppy Contest where the new Toronto Puppy titleholder may eventually compete.

Paul (Argo) Ciantar – Toronto Puppy Contest Head Judge

Paul (Argo) Ciantar, Canadian Leather Man 2004 and Mr. Leatherman Toronto 2003 has travelled across North America for Leather events, speaking engagements, media interviews, and fundraising events. He has judged several major leather contests in both the USA and Canada (including Mr. Edmonton, Mr. Michigan, Mr. San Diego, Mr. Vancouver, Mr. Montréal, Mr. Atlantic Canada, Mr. Leatherman Toronto, and Oklahoma Mr. Leather) and has organized many highly successful fundraising events for charities.

He served for 3 years as one of the founding directors for the Church Street Fetish Fair and as Co-Chairman of the North American Bootblack Contest. He created the “Leather Brunch“ in 2003 during his MLT year. He helped create the “So You Want To Be Kinky?” series of pansexual Kink/BDSM workshops in 2007, and significantly expanded the MLTC Weekend Seminar Program as Chairman of the MLTC Educational Programs Committee (a position he held from 2005 to 2010) and wrote a regular column for abOUT magazine for 4 years; all in his home community of Toronto.

Recipient of the 2005 International Pantheon of Leather Canadian Award and the 2009 MLTC Courtlan Forsey Award for his lasting community contributions, “Mama’s Shit Disturber” continues to passionately promote the importance of Community Involvement, Education, Mentoring, Respect, and Responsibility through seminars, interviews, writings, and one-on-one conversations.

Argo is the founder and Pack Leader of the Black Eagle Kennel Klub and has hosted the monthly Pup Night at the Toronto Black Eagle since 2009. Argo is by no definition a “puppy”. He’s wilful, aggressive, very playful, and sometimes disobedient; but also very protective and affectionate. He often gets into fights for dominance with other dogs who challenge his pack status, but is very playful and gentle with pups and dogs who know their place within the pack’s hierarchy.

Master Scott

Master Scott is a gay male “bear”, dominant switch, and has been doing BDSM play for more than 20 years. He is a proud member of the Leather Family headed by Master Chuck. Scott was honoured by being presented with his Master’s cover by Master Chuck and his leather family in 2010. He is honoured to be pinned into Mama’s Family as “Mama’s Canadian Body Bear”. Within the community Scott has been active in teaching others various BDSM related skills, particularly his passion of percussion play (spanking, flogging and caning). He also has a passion for puppy play having had the privilege of owning a pup for the past four years. He has been a proud supporter and a handler for the Black Eagle Kennel Klub for the past four years along with His pup bandit. Scott has been partnered in an open relationship for 15 years to a D/s-switch MasterC’s boy Iain – formerly Eastern Canada Leatherboy 2011. Scott is blessed to have 3 collared submissives – alpha slave-pup Kalen, boy craig and boy nico. Scott also acts as a mentor to a number of other boys, pups, cubs and slaves. Scott currently works in healthcare and is privileged to also be teaching in that field.

Pup Scout – Ottawa Pup 2012

Pup Scout is originally from the Province of Quebec and has lived in Ottawa for 5 years. His exploration of puppy play began a long time ago, but didn’t really evolve into anything serious before he met his first handler in 2011. A single year later, Pup Scoutt helped build the Ottawa pup community (Ruff ‘n’ Tumble) with the help of the Ottawa pack, and was chosen by the community to be the very first Ottawa Puppy 2012 titleholder.

Victoria Windsor – Alternate Judge

Victoria is a familiar face amongst the Toronto leather folks. She is a former exotic dancer, former Pro Domme, and a current Documentary film maker. She was Central Canada Olympus Leather 2008, and has presented workshops at Tribal Fire in Oklahoma City, So You Want To Be Kinky in Toronto, Unholy Harvest in Ottawa, Twisted Leprechaun in Dublin, Ireland, and private workshops in Barrie, Oshawa, and Windsor Canada. She is thrilled to be judging the first Toronto Puppy Contest, at Toronto Bound 2012.

buddy aka Jacques Coetzer – HOTF Head Tally Master

buddy aka Jacques Coetzer is a native South African, who arrived in Canada in 1998 and proudly became a Canadian Citizen in June 2004. buddy was introduced to bootblacking by his leather family. This enabled buddy to rediscover his love for bootblacking, a skill obtained during his military service in the South African Air Force.
