Seminars will take place at the 519 Church Street Community Centre, 519 Church Street.

TICKETS: $10.00 per seminar. Three different seminars are included with the TB 2012 VIP Weekend Pass. Please purchase individual seminar tickets at the TB Welcome Centre located on the 2nd floor of the 519 on Saturday.

PLEASE NOTE: Admission to restricted to persons 19 years of age or older. All times shown are estimates based on the scheduled time slot and the schedule is subject to change. The actual length of the individual seminars will vary. Please check with the TB Welcome Centre (519 Church Street Community Centre, 519 Church Street- 2nd floor) for the final schedule. Violet Wand Workshop: “Add Spark to your Play with Electricity!”

The Violet Wand introduced to the world more than a century ago. Its original applications where proven useless, but people continued to use it through the previous century hoping to reap its “therapeutic” benefits.

Not until the later part of the century, when kinky minded people like us realized its recreational potential, did the Violet Wand become a staple tool in the dungeons and bedrooms of BDSM players.

The workshop will cover a bit of the history of the Violet Wand as well as demonstrate its different applications for sexual arousal and stimulation. We will look at the equipment, both old and new, and demonstrate the Violet Wand in a safe and controlled setting. In this workshop, we will also discuss the mental aspects of its use in a role play – Dom/sub scenario. As always, safety when playing with electricity of any kind will be covered.

Equipment will be available should anyone wish to experience the Violet Wand.

50 Shades of Lacing

This will be a practical hands-on class for anyone interested in expanding their repertoire of lacing techniques. Participants are encouraged to bring boots or shoes with laces to practice.

Taken from the pages of Ian Fieggen’s “100’s Of Ways To Pimp Your Kicks,” we will cover various lacing techniques for different styles of boots including the more traditional criss-cross and ladder styles, as well as some trickier ones such as the zipper, zig-zag and star. For the truly nerdy amongst you, there will even be algebraic formulas for how long your laces need to be for a given style, helpful if you need to cut a new length of shoelace.

We are Knot finished though – you can’t really tie a shoelace without a knot, so we will also cover a few different ways of finishing off your lacing including a traditional tie, a surgeons knot, and even Ian’s custom developed Knot. Last, if you ever have frayed shoelace ends, we will cover a couple of different techniques for creating aglets (the hard end of the shoelace).

From “don’t touch my nuts” to “spreading his legs” to re-enacting the scene from Casino Royale in front of 50 people on stage, boy iain will discuss and provide a demo (with genital nudity) introducing attendees to cock and ball play – including safety, maintaining health, where to start through to some advanced concepts such as how to guide your sub through their first few scenes. We’ll cover ball bondage, ball stretching, percussion play (with hands, boots, equipment) among other CBT topics.

“Whips and Chains” is a term that many vanilla folks use to describe us kinky folks. Other than chains being an accessory, whips are the quintessential SM toy, and one of the most difficult to master. Victoria has been playing with whips for years; single tails are by far her favorite toy.

Session # 1 will focus on theory, safety protocols, prep and after care and will include a demonstration. This class will be limited to twelve people due to room size, so those with their own whips will be permitted to attend the workshop on a first come, first serve basis. Please wear long pants and long sleeved shirt, and protective eyewear, as this can be a dangerous class. Please come early, as this class will sell out fast!

This class will take you through the physics of cracking a whip, and finally have you not only making that great sound, but master the basic cracks known to Zorro and Catwoman alike. Please be patient, and please bring your own whip. This class will be limited to twelve people due to room size, so those with whips will be permitted to attend on a first come, first serve basis. Please wear long pants and long sleeved shirt, and protective eyewear. This can be a dangerous class. Perquisite: Session # 1.
