Part one will be demonstrating the basic principles and techniques of submission wrestling, focusing on erotic and BDSM applications, and the psychology behind designing a successful scene. An emphasis is placed on proper pre-match communication skills, including aggression levels, style, gear, sexual expectations and limitations, and safety, to achieve a mutually satisfying session.

Fundamentals: General rules and principles, styles, personal hygiene
Pre-Match Communication: Establishing ground rules.
Getting Started: bringing your partner down to the ground
Pins: Controlling and immobilizing your partner
Aftercare: care does not stop after the wrestling does
The next step: resources to improve your skills, explore other styles, existing clubs. The second half will be for participant’s questions specific to their own play styles or interests, common pleasures and concerns, demonstrating solutions, and discussing other styles of wrestling.

10:30 am – 11:30 am

Negotiating the Kinky Landscape: Tips and Tricks

Room # 201

Presented by Sarah Pie

One of the most difficult skills to master is the ability to negotiate a scene with a new play partner. Quite often people will attend a play party or fetish night, hoping to play, but will not have an opportunity because they don’t know how to go about finding a partner and talking frankly with that person about what they want. In other cases, people who have talked online for some time finally decide to get together in the real world, and are suddenly faced with having to negotiate actual, physical play with each other. Even partners who have been involved for quite a while sometimes find it difficult to introduce new activities to their relationship, because they don’t know how to go about negotiating something that they consider “edgy”. In this workshop, we’ll explore the entire process of negotiation.

12:00 pm-1:00 pm

Fluid Flogging: Practice, Practice, Practice.

Presented by Jason Forbes

Room # 201
This workshop is aimed specifically to those who are new to flogging or are motor-challenged and would like to learn and develop the skills for a fluid, figure-8 flogging stroke. Some time will be spent talking about the stroke and safety issues, but the majority of the time will be used practicing your swing with tips/advice/one-on-one help as needed. Types of floggers and strokes, reading the bottom, warm-up/cool-down, etc. will not be covered unless there is time and desire. This is a safe and non-judgemental environment to come and make mistakes as this is how the body learns. Please bring your own floggers and extras to lend to others if required.

1:30 pm-2:30 pm

Violet Wand Workshop: “Add Spark to your Play with Electricity!”

Room # 106

Presented by Master Tony

The Violet Wand introduced to the world more than a century ago. Its original applications where proven useless, but people continued to use it through the previous century hoping to reap its “therapeutic” benefits.

Not until the later part of the century, when kinky minded people like us realized its recreational potential, did the Violet Wand become a staple tool in the dungeons and bedrooms of BDSM players.

The workshop will cover a bit of the history of the Violet Wand as well as demonstrate its different applications for sexual arousal and stimulation. We will look at the equipment, both old and new, and demonstrate the Violet Wand in a safe and controlled setting. In this workshop, we will also discuss the mental aspects of its use in a role play – Dom/sub scenario. As always, safety when playing with electricity of any kind will be covered.

Equipment will be available should anyone wish to experience the Violet Wand.
