Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ)

Three terminals make up Toronto’s Pearson Airport, except as noted, all offer the same transportation options to downtown. All prices CDN$. All travel times provided are estimated to the Church/Wellesley area. Return times to Pearson would be the same.

Toronto City Centre Airport (YTZ)

Toronto Island Airport is just 2.5 km / 1.5 miles from downtown. Porter Airline is the principal carrier to this airport. All prices CDN$. All travel times provided are estimated to the Church/Wellesley area. Return times to Toronto City Centre Airport would be the same.

Limousine

From Pearson – $55 (Travel time: 40 minutes depending on traffic.)

From Toronto City Centre – $40 (Travel time: 10 minutes depending on traffic.)

Taxi

From Pearson – $49 (almost the same as limo but standard sedan.)

From Toronto City Centre – $8 (almost the same as limo but standard sedan.)

Airport Express

Pearson: Coach service. Pick up on the Arrivals Level at Pearson. One way fare is $21.95 / return – $36.25. Service is generally every 20 minutes. The Airport Express provides service to the subway system and stops at most major hotels in the downtown core. Hint: Get off at the Royal York Hotel and take a cab to your desired downtown location. If you do not have to wait for a bus at the Airport, this combination will get you downtown in about the same time as a limo for about half the price. You can book online.

GO Transit

The GO Transit bus shelter is located at Pearson Terminal 2 on the Arrivals Level – Post 20, and at Terminal 1 on the Ground level – Column S2. The Eastbound GO buses take passengers to north Toronto including the Yorkdale and York Mills subway stations. Toronto Transit Commission (TTC)

Bus service is available from Pearson Terminals 2 and 3 and from directly from Toronto City Centre Airport. One way fare is $3.00.

From Pearson – The 192 AIRPORT ROCKET runs every 45 minutes. Buses stop at Kipling Station on the Bloor subway line servicing downtown Toronto. Take this line to Yonge and then go south to the Wellesley stop. Travel time: 1 hour.

From Toronto City Centre Airport take the Yonge Subway line north to either Wellesley or Bloor stops. Travel time: 20 minutes.

Pearson Inter-Terminal Shuttle Bus

Pearson International Airport operates a free Inter-Terminal Shuttle (either bus or monorail) service . Shuttles depart every 8-15 minutes. Hint: The link between Terminal 1 & 2 is by bus departing from the arrivals level of the terminals. The link between Terminal 1 & 3 is by monorail train. Look for the signs in the terminals.
